Winter Boots!

Winter is upon us! Well, at least in America... :)
It is snowing right now, as a matter of fact! So as I'm cuddled up in bed listening to holiday music, candles lit and my little kitten cuddling next to me, I figure I'd write a blog on a winter essential........ BOOTS!!!!! Yayyyyy :)

Boots of all colors and kinds are a go-to for the winter season.
My personal style tends to go a little bit grungie in the colder months...
These are some of the boots, and similar styled ones, I'll be rocking this winter. :)

Boots 1 and 2 are both Dr. Martens. Floral boots are perfect for adding a hint of color and pattern to any outfit. I'm sure, just like myself, everyone's wardrobe tends to turn to all blacks and grays during this time of year and we could all use a splash of color here and there!

Boot 3 - I love these pink Dr. Marten boots! They're both girly and edgy at the same time. They are also great for adding a pop of color to a dull outfit!

Boot 4 - A plain black boot is a must have in every shoe collection. These one's happen to be Dr. Marten as well!

Boots 5, 6 and 7 - Fold over boots! Super cozy looking and stylish. Boot 5 is Timberland, I own them in taupe! I love the fact that Boot 6 is white, very unique; it's not something I see very often. These used to be available on modcloth.com but are now sold out. :( Boot 7 is available at Wetseal. I like the plaid pattern; plaids and flannel are highly incorporated in my winter season wardrobe.

Boot 8 - Like I said about the black Dr. Marten's, black boots are a must have. These ones are from newlook.com.  I like these ones specifically because of the knit cuff at the top. Whenever I wear boots I love to have my socks peaking out.

Boots 9 and 10 - Cut out boots are a fairly new trend I am very fond of! Boot 9 is from River Island. The gold buckle and tassels complete these boots for me. Boot 9 is the Arabel 2 boots from Topshop. I love that these are a bit chunky and the buckles are a nice accent. Being 100% leather they must be incredible quality. Both of these boots will definitely be purchases of mine in the near future.

Boot 11 - A good old pair of Tims is always a good idea. These, along with Dr. Martens, are great for slippery and ice weather. I'm always worried about slipping and falling on ice, so I always try to get boots with great tread on them.

Boot 12 - Last but certainly not least. A plain brown pair of ankle boots are another must have in every shoe collection. These ones in particular happen to be from H&M and are currently sold out. However, I recently got a nice pair of Steve Madden boots that were very similar!

Untill next time! Stay safe! xoxo

Fall Favorites!

It is officially autumn here in Massachusetts! I love it!
Seeing as it is my favorite month, I thought doing a fall favorites would be a nice idea. :)

First on the list is beanies! I think they're an autumn fashion staple. (As well as many of my other favorites) I personally have a bucket dedicated to beanies; it's over flowing. I love the variety of them, and they keep your head warm.

Sweater tights, Sweaters and Sweater boots!
They all are so wonderful for the colder weather!
I have piles of sweaters, I'm obsessed!

Thigh -high tights are a new love of mine! I
dabbled with them a bit last winter but I think I'm
going to use them much more this season!

Here are some outfits I found on pintrest that I enjoyed and thought were a good summary of my personal autumn fashion. :):)

Ahhhhhh, my favorite thing about these months, the changing of the leaves! Being from and living in New England this is something I'm so used to but I love it so much. The colors are absolutely beautiful, I take the back roads on purpose this time of year.

To be completely honest I love everything that comes with autumn. All the different warm drinks (specifically hazelnut coffee, pumpkin spice and hot cocoa), all things pumpkin, and I mean everything. Oooo and cuddling up on the couch with a warm cuppa something in a blanket watching movies. asdfghjkl; :)

I just can't get enough of it, It makes me all warm and fuzzy inside. :)

Broke these babies out for the first time today!
I love the way they look, although they're giving me
a hard time cause they're too big.... but I'm willing to forgive.

Water Color Tattoos!

I've always been a big supporter of any and all forms of art and expression. I love it all; dance, music, painting, sculpting, drawing, mixed media arts, fashion design and styling, body modifications, tattoos. Over the last few weeks I've come across the concept of water color tattoos. I fell in love with them instantly. I can't wait to get one myself!

I can't paint with water colors on a piece of paper, let alone on someone's skin! I'm envious of tattoo artists in general. They are such talented people, water color tatoos really show how talented they are. I don't know anyone who could make such a beautiful piece of art.

I don't own or take credit for any of these photos.
They were all found on pintrest. :) xo

Back To School!

Hello All!

I just recently started my senior year of high school! I'm so ready to finish up school and go to college.
With it being that time of year, I thought I'd make up some outfits over on polyvore for back to school!
You can check those out here:

I personally style myself in either a edgy-street style or a girly-dressy way.
That is what this group of outfits are inspired by.

Check them out and leave comments on the outfits or here!
Thank you so much!

I love you, New York.

This past week I went on a mini vacation to NYC with my dad.
It ultimately resulted in us just shopping the entire time, along with us doing a few
touristy things in between. :)

The first day we we're there we decided to go shopping right away. We looked at some shops on Canal Street and ended up at Topshop and H&M, two of my favorite stores! That night we went to Times Square and I went into Forever 21 but was completely overwhelmed by all the people and the clothes we're everywhere.

The next day we went to lower Manhattan to visit friends then did some more shopping right by the Brooklyn Bridge. I found this cute store called Kara that picked up some things at. After we got dinner that night I went to Zara for the first time ever! That was exciting because I hadn't planned to go there while in the city, but my hotel was like, three blocks away from the 5th Ave store!

Wednesday morning we went for a drive around the city and ended up in Bronx, later we went uptown to the Museum of Art and Design. The bottom picture was part of one of the exhibits. I love it. After that we went on a tour around Central park because I had never been before. We stopped at the fountain where the opening scene of Friends was filmed, I was so excited because that's my favorite show. That night for dinner we went to Michael Jordan's restaurant and had some of the best food I have ever eaten hands down.

First Post Ever! (ahhhhh:)!)

Yesterday I took a little trip to the drugstore to get somethings!

First, I picked up two Revlon "Just Bitten Kissable" lip balm stains. The two colors I got were 040 (left) and 055 (right).  I enjoy the lip balm stains because they give color and also keep your lips moisturized. Dry lips are the worst! The concept of these is the best of both worlds, great color and hydrated lips.

Maybelline's Baby Lips is a great line! They have good flavor/scents and work perfect. This one is the Pink Punch, I also have Quenched. I actually would like to get all of them eventually. Maybelline is one of my favorite brands.

L'oreal Paris Magic De-Crease Eyelid Primer (left) & Revlon Color-Stay Concealer (right)
I haven't had much of a change to use either of these, except for in my room experimenting with make up. But, I have Revlon Color-Stay foundation that I like so I figured I'd get concealer to go along with it. I needed eye lid primer and this is what I could find! It seems to work great from what I've seen.

Last, I got baby oil and cocoa butter. They work great together for soft, smooth and shinny legs!

Okay, There is my first blog post! Exciting right! I'm still trying to figure out how blogger works, any and all support is appreciated! I'd also love hearing ideas and tips for my blog and posts!
